The Message of Chief Commander of the Polish PoliceKonrad Kornatowski to Europoltech 2007 Exhibitors
"My best wishes to those of you who will participate in the Conference and the Symposium for successful discussions and finding the best development directions for the technological advancement of police services. Let me also invite those of you who will be exhibiting to play an active part in the Police modernisation process and wish you success in meeting your expectations of the Europoltech Fair of Police Technology."
Konrad Kornatowski Chief Commander of Police
The Polish Police is facing new and difficult challenges and the need to increase its effectiveness. It is vital to make a breakthrough in providing the police structures with advanced technology based on latest developments. The Police needs technologically advanced equipment to increase its officers’ personal safety and operational effectiveness. As part of the governmental programme for the modernisation of uniformed services, the Police fleet will be refurbished and enlarged, Police air support units will be developed, the arms and special technology will be brought up to date. The Police will purchase state-of-the-art communications equipment and IT systems. The police stations and headquarters will be upgraded. Police officers will also receive modern uniforms. The 3rd International Police Conference on Modernisation and Technical Development of Police Services as a Response to New Threats to Public Safety, 18-19 April 2007 in Warsaw, together with the Europoltech 2007 International Fair of Technology and Equipment for the Police and National Security Services, will constitute an important set of ventures to support the Three-year Upgrade Plan for the Police, the Border Guard (SG), the State Fire Brigade (PSP) and the Government Protection Bureau (BOR). Therefore, it is with great interest and satisfaction that I am receiving news of considerable interest in Europoltech 2007, especially of a high expected turnout of companies which specialise in the production of equipment and the supply of services to support crime abatement. I am convinced that both the International Police Conference and the accompanying Europoltech 2007 Fair of Police Technology with its Symposium on The Principles of the 2007-2009 Three-year Upgrade Plan for the Police, the Border Guard (SG), the State Fire Brigade (PSP) and the Government Protection Bureau (BOR) organised on April 20 will aid the achievement of the police services upgrade objectives. My best wishes to those of you who will participate in the Conference and the Symposium for successful discussions and finding the best development directions for the technological advancement of police services. Let me also invite those of you who will be exhibiting to play an active part in the Police modernisation process and wish you success in meeting your expectations of the Europoltech Fair of Police Technology.
