Press Conference

December 14, 2010, saw a conference on Brand New Polish Police at the EXPO XXI Warsaw International Expocentre. The attendees included General Commissioner Andrzej Matejuk, Polish Police Commander-in-Chief, and Andrzej Kasprzak, President of the Board, Gdańsk International Fair Co (MTG SA).

The conference topics included the Police’s 2010 budget spending, its investment plans and the presentation of cutting-edge police equipment. For the first time, new police vehicles were presented: marked Alfa Romeos 159, equipped with a video recorder to take footage of what’s happening in the front and rear of the car and with a radar to enable speed measurements on vehicles approaching from the opposite direction.

The conference was also a preview of EUROPOLTECH, the International Fair of Technology and Equipment for the Police and National Security Services.
